I have a battery pack for the Amazon Echo Dot. It is designed as a base for the Echo and allows the echo to go cordless. I like this so I can move it around the house. Periodically when I unplugged the base it would cause the Echo to reboot, until one day it would not power the Echo. I figured there was a problem with a connection so I had to figure out how to take the thing apart. At first I did not see an easy way but after a little detective work (not google I could not find a tear down video or page) I was able to take it apart and test the connections.
