Still out on a cliff

I continued with the Udemy Krita course. We did global shading, adding details and then back lighting. Here is the end result.

I watched a few more lectures on the Blender character creation course. It is still reviewing the basics.

A little over a week ago Ars Technica had their staff make book recommendations. One of them was Dark Matter by Blake Crouch. I decided to read it so I checked it out of the library and gave it a read. I would describe it as Quantum Leap meets Sliders with some Michael Crighton’s Timelime thrown in. It was a good read with fairly good pacing. I don’t want to go into detail, so I can say I thought it was going to go one way and it went another.

My next book is Thrawn by Timothy Zahn. Grand Admiral Thrawn was a character the author introduced to the Star Wars universe in the early nineties (The Thrawn Trilogy – Heir to the Empire, Dark Force Rising and The Last Command). I have since read anything I can get my hands on by Timothy Zahn.
